Redbridge Cycling Campaign’s October Fix-Your-Bike session will take place on Saturday, 17 October 2026 at Redbridge Central Library, Clements Road, Ilford, Essex, IG1 1EA between 14:00 and 16:00 as part of the Repair Café.
Come along with your bike. We can check it for roadworthiness and carry out minor repairs and adjustments. We have a supply of commonly needed spare parts, such as inner tubes and brake blocks. Fix-Your-Bike is run by volunteers free of charge, but we appreciate donations to cover the cost of parts. We can take payments by cash and card or via this link.
Ride Redbridge 2026 was a brilliant success, with rides from all round the Borough meeting in Valentine’s Park at lunch time on Sunday, 20 September.
London Cycling Campaign‘s borough groups across London ran events for the London Cycling Festival. Here in Redbridge, more than 70 cyclists joined the rides. A report of the rides, our past rides, and information about forthcoming rides, which you are welcome to join, are on our rides page.
The Fix-Your-Bike in Valentine’s repaired nine bikes and carried out safety checks on others. Thank you to everyone who donated to Fix-Your-Bike by cash or card. We are run entirely by volunteers and your donations help with the cost of spare parts and equipment. For anyone who would still like to make a donation, here is the PayPal link.
The next Fix-Your-Bike will be run in conjunction with Repair Café at Ilford Library on Saturday, 17 October, 2026. The next ride is to Regent’s Park on Sunday, 4 October – details on the rides page – and, of course, we will be back at the London Cycling Festival next year.
Ride Redbridge is back! This year’s cycling festival will be bigger and better than ever, with five marshalled rides from nine starting points in the London Borough of Redbridge, all converging at Valentine’s Park at lunch time on Sunday, 20 September, 2026. The return rides will set off at 14:00

From 12:00, there will be a Fix-Your-Bike at our main meeting point, near Valentine’s Park Cafe. Bring your bike along and our bike mechanics will check it for roadworthiness. They can carry out minor repairs and adjustments. They have a supply of the most commonly required spare parts, such as inner tubes and brake blocks. Fix-Your-Bike is run by volunteers free of charge, but they do accept donations by cash and card (or via this link) to cover the cost of spare parts.
Leading five simultaneous rides takes a lot of marshals and we still need volunteers. If you are an experienced cyclist or have had previous experience of cycle marshalling, we would love to hear from you. Free marshal training is available if you are available on Saturday, 12 September.
