2022 bike ride survey now complete

Thank you to all thirty of you who responded to the rides survey.

All your answers have been pored over with great interest by the rides organisers. What you enjoy most is learning new routes, meeting other cyclists and you especially love our marshals, who make you feel safe. There are some great ideas for improvement, such as start points in different parts of the borough and training rides of gradually increasing distance as the season progresses.

The opening rides of the 2023 season will be announced soon so come back to this page to be the first to sign up!

Supporting cycling in Tower Hamlets

Cycling schemes in Tower Hamlets are under threat following the election of borough mayor Luftur Rahman. On Saturday 12/11/2022, more than a hundred cyclists, including parents and children of the borough’s schools, left Arnold Circus heading for Chisenhale Road school, where Mayor Rahman has twice sent in contractors in failed bids to remove the School Streets scheme and associated children’s play space. Three of your regular Redbridge Cycling Campaign volunteers went along in exceptionally sunny November weather to support our friends in Tower Hamlets, where we were joined by some of our Redbridge ride regulars.
